If you have been trying to use the latest update, I'm sure you've been having trouble getting things in kismet to work-like spawning bots. The reason for this is because in the newest UDK you first have to go to View> World Properties> Game Type and then set the type to UTGame. Now all the kismet will work correctly. Hope this helps out anyone who gets stuck this week =3
Bot that spawns(enemy) patrols a path and Bot on level loaded (enemy) when trigger is hit changes material/switches sides and will attack patrol guard.
Still working out the bugs on getting the bot to follow a player. Anyone already solve this kismet problem before?
Hey guys last profile was a bust so made a new one. Anyways I have done the Top down map of the bass also a few block out of the bass as well. I also have the placement of the puzzles. Also Wolfstar sent me a image of what he said earlier but I have no idea how to post the image on this site. I will print it out and had it out on Saturday.
Hey guys, I've been moving for the last few days so this is the first chance to got on here. I figured out a solution to the train problem. after the player jumps onto the train, they enter a tunnel. in the tunnel the player transitions to the static (not moving) train car. after the third car, the player transitions back to a moving car that coms to a stop (at the missle silo).
I've been trying to load a new level, then i found the teleport node. so im not sure if the player is actually going to the other level i created for the inside of the train.
I like that idea Will, sounds like a solid plan of action.
I got the bot to follow me now, and when the bots switch side to the player they will change material to gold. It's kind of fun. Now I just need to figure out how to make the bots fight with an enemy squad and we'll have ourselves a grand old battle royale x3
Is anyone having problems with their portion of the level? I'll be at 207 building two tomorrow--feel free to send a text so we can meet up and work out any kinks.
